Joel Osteen's Mother Healed of Terminal Liver Cancer by Her Faith in God's Promises

Dodie Osteen's Healing

Dodie Osteen, Joel Osteen's mother, was diagnosed with terminal
liver cancer. What do you do when the doctors say it's terminal,
no hope? Dodie had a choice. She could give up or go to a
higher authority. She went to the higher authority, Jesus Christ. He
said in His word that, "He sent forth his word and healed them;
he rescues them from the grave" (Psalm 107:20).

Dodie Osteen decided to stand on God's word and
three times a day spoke and declared healing scriptures until
her healing was manifested. I might add, during this time while she
felt so sick she did not stay in bed but moved about her house
as if she was healed. James 2:17 says, "Even so faith, if it
hath not works, is dead, being alone." She was acting on her
faith even though her body was telling her she was sick.
Cancer is no match for God's word when it is believed and
acted upon. Dodie Osteen is a living testimony of the mighty
power of God's Word released through faith.

Living by Faith

Faith Walk: Why do we need to know how to live by faith and not by sight?

The Bible says in Romans 1:17b, "The just shall live by faith."

1 John 5:4 says:

"For whosoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith."

Hebrews 11:6 it says:

"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."

You can’t be saved without faith.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8 KJV).

So, to be saved and live an overcoming life that pleases God you need
to have faith, faith in God and faith in His Word. Let us continue
our understanding of how to live by faith.

You have been given the measure of faith to live by faith and not by sight

“God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith” (Romans 12:3b KJV).

However, you have to know how to use it. You see, your faith is like a mechanic’s tool and if you don’t know how to use the tool, then it won’t do you much good. Same way with faith, if you don’t know how to use it, your faith won’t do you much good. Also, your faith is like a muscle, if you don’t develop it, then it will remain weak and of little
use.

What is faith?

Faith is a substance. Faith is evidence. Faith gives substance to what you hope to come to pass.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”
(Hebrews 11:1 KJV).

Faith is an action. Faith without corresponding action is dead. Active faith gives substance to what you hope to come to pass.

“Even so faith, if it hath not works (corresponding action), is dead, being alone“ (James 2:17 KJV).

Faith is trusting whatever God has said is true.

Faith is believing and acting on the Word of God.

What is hope?

Hope is your goal setter. Without a goal (hope), your faith has nothing to focus on and give substance to. Hope is the like the 70 degrees you set your thermostat to in your home. You set the thermostat to 70 degrees (your goal, your hope) and the heating furnace unit (your faith) goes to work to heat your house to 70 degrees (your goal, your hope).

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1 KJV).

God’s promises give you all the hope you will ever need.

How to Get an Answer to Prayer

If you have a problem in your life, God wants to solve your problem through your prayer of faith to Him. Never underestimate the power of God to answer your prayer. Matthew 19:26b says, “With God all things are possible.”

1. Find a scripture(s) to be a base, a foundation for your prayer, like Mark 11:24, John 16:23 or 1 John 5:14,15.

“Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them”(Mark 11:24 KJV).

2. Make sure your prayer request is God’s will.

God’s Word is His will. If you are asking for something outside of His will then your prayer will not get answered. That is why it is so important to read God’s Word on a regular basis so you will know what His will is.

You could ask a mature trusted pastor who is well grounded in the Word if your prayer is in line with God’s will. However, if that pastor has been taught incorrectly, he could give you the wrong answer, so ask more that one mature Christian. However, it is best to go yourself to God the Father in Jesus’ name and ask Him if your prayer is His will.

3. Ask in faith knowing that when you pray He has heard your prayer.

1 John 5:14,15 encourages you to trust He has heard your prayer and answered your pray when your prayer is in line with His will.

“And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions (prayers) that we desired (asked) of Him” (1 John 5:14,15 KJV).
Also, always direct your prayer to your Heavenly Father and ask Him for what you want in Jesus’ name.

4. Once you have asked God the Father in Jesus’ name for what you desire then you must believe you have received the answer (the title deed so to speak) to what you have hoped to come to pass..

In other words you must believe you have it before you actually see it come to pass. That’s faith.

Remember, you always ask the Father in Jesus' name. The name of Jesus gives you access to having your prayers answered by your Heavenly Father.

5. You release your faith in God’s promise that He has heard and answered your prayer by acting like you believe you have “it” (your prayer answered) now. That’s faith.

You release your faith in your prayer being answered by thanking Him, praising Him and worshipping Him for answering your prayer.

6. Thanking, praising and worshipping God gives substance to what you hoped to come to pass.

Your thanking, praising and worshipping is your faith being released. Your prayer based on God’s scripture promise is your hope. Your hope becomes reality the moment you believe you receive even though you might not have the instant manifestation of your prayer being answered.

In other words , faith says I’ve got it even though I can’t see it. Faith says the instant I prayed I got it. Doubt says I don’t have it now because I don’t see it or feel it. Faith says God says I have it now because He cannot lie.

“Therefore I say unto you , What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them (believe you have it the instant you prayed, not some time in the future), and ye shall have them” (Mark 11:24 KJV). That’s faith.

Faith Builder - How To Receive Your Healing

"Surely he hath borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses
and distresses), and carried our sorrows (pains, grief and
sorrows): yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of
God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our
transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the
chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with
his stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:4,5).

To receive your healing you must first know it is
God's will for you to be healed. 3 John 2 says it is
His will for you to be healed. "Beloved, I wish above
all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health,
even as thy soul prospereth."

I encourage you to speak out of your mouth on
a daily basis some of the healing scriptures in
the Bible. This will cause faith to rise in your
heart so you can receive the manifestation of
your healing.

Let me give you an example of how you can
take God's healing promises and personalize
them to speak them boldly out of your
mouth so faith can come for your healing:

"According to Deuteronomy 28:15-68
sickness and disease come under the curse
of the law, but according to Galatian 3:13
Jesus Christ has redeemed me from the
curse of the law and by His
stripes I was healed according to 1 Peter 2:4."

Do this by faith on a consistent daily basis throughout
the day as you thank, praise and
worship God for your healing. Boldly and consistently
declaring by faith God's Word along with your
thanksgiving, praise and worship will manifest God's
desire for you, healing.

Final note, resist thinking and dwelling on the problem,
but saturate yourself with the answer, His
faithful Word. Please be patient, for your healing
will manifest if you trust in God's faithfulness to
honor His Holy Word. And yes, Jesus loves you and
He is your Healer.

Faith Builder - God Has an Abundant Life for You

"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill,
and to destroy: I am come that they might have life,
and that they might have it more abundantly" (John 10:10
KJV).

Think on that, dwell on that, meditate on that until
you believe in your heart God has given you abundant
life. You are to be the head and not the tail according
to your covenant with God.

Faith Builder - Let These Signs Follow You

shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing,

Are you a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ? If you are, then
you qualify to cast out demons, speak with new tongues (you
need to be filled with the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:4)
and lay hands on the sick and they will recover. Even if you
accidently take up a serpent or drink poison, they won't hurt
you. God does not want you to on purpose pick up deadly
snakes or drink poison. That would be tempting God and
that would be a sin.

Dare to believe God and step out in faith and trust God
to do what He said in Mark 16:17,18 and see God honor
His Word.

Faith Builder - Have Faith and Do Not Doubt

If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which

Jesus is telling us to have faith in our words. That is why
you only want to say things you want to come to pass. If
you say things that are negative or lack truth then you
will hinder your faith when you say something you really
want to come to pass. Watch your words.

Maybe you can quote every healing scripture in the Bible
but you are still sick. Why? Because you have head knowledge

read it.

Testimony. A woman said while she was reading
Isaiah 53:5 the Lord open her understanding and gave
her the revelation in her heart that she was healed.

Meditate in God's promises and allow the Holy Spirit
to open up the eyes of your understanding giving you
revelation knowledge of God's Word.

Faith Builder - Logos to Rhema

You will find the word "logos" in the Greek means the
"said" Word. That means it has already been spoken.
The written words in the Bible are the logos. They were
inspired by God and written down by holy men of God.
However, the "rhema" Word in the Greek says it is the
"saying" Word. In other words, it is being spoken now.

When you read scripture in the Bible you are reading
the logos, but when the Holy Spirit breathes on that
Word giving you revelation knowledge of that Word, so
it becomes real to you, that is the rhema Word and it has
the power to do whatever that scripture says.

Let me give you an example. A woman has been
diagnosed with terminal cancer. She picks up her
Bible and reads in 1 Peter 2:24, "by whose stripes
ye were healed." She has just read the logos, the said
Word. But, she decides to meditate on that scripture and
by faith begins to thank, praise and worship God because
that scripture says she was healed almost two
thousand years ago because of the stripes Jesus
Christ took on His back for her healing.

So, one day while she is meditating on that
healing scripture and praising, thanking and
worshipping God by faith for her healing, the Holy Spirit
gives her revelation knowledge of that Word
so faith is released in her to cause that scripture
to become alive in her. She now believes in her
heart and not just in her head she is healed.
She has received the rhema of that Word. The anointing
released by that rhema Word drives out the cancer.
She has received her healing. Praise God!

cancer. Being a praying person, she went to the Lord
with her physical problem and waited for His answer.
He told her when His Word became more real to her
than the cancer, then she would receive the manifestation
of her healing.

There are numerous healing scriptures in God's Word.
She must have grabbed on to at least one and believed it
until it became more real to her than the cancer. 1 Peter
2:24 says we were healed almost two thousand years ago,
we just have to believe it: "By whose stripes ye were
healed."

What did she do to get God's healing Word to become
so real to her? I did not ask her what she did, but
she must have read and meditated on those healing
scriptures until she was convinced God's word was true
because she was completely healed of that
deadly disease, cancer. Meditate on God's
Word until His promises become real to you.

Faith Builder - Worship

John 4:23,24 states, " But the hour cometh, and now is,
when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in
spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship
him. God is a spirit: and they that worship him must
worship him in spirit and in truth."

The more time you spend worshipping God in spirit and
in truth, the greater opportunity to receive revelation
knowledge of Him and His Word. Revelation knowledge of
Him and His Word produces faith.

Faith Builder - Ask the Father

say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my
name, he will give it you" (John 16:23).

Mark 11:24 says, "Therefore I say unto you, What things
soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive
them, and ye shall have them."

What this scripture is saying is when you ask God the
Father in Jesus' name for anything in line with His
will, you must believe the instant you pray that God
has heard your prayer and granted you the ownership
or title deed for what you asked and then the answered
prayer will be manifested to you. The manifestation might
be instant or progressive.

In other words, you must believe you have it before
you can touch, smell, hear, taste or see it physically.
That is called faith. Faith says, "I've got it now."
Doubt says, "I'll believe it when I see it."

A missionary to China many years ago contracted smallpox.
Smallpox back then was a death sentence. But instead of
giving up, she went to the Lord with her problem. He
gave her a vision of two baskets. One basket was full
of the test and trial, the smallpox. The other basket
contained her praise to God and that basket was only
half full. He told her the praise basket needed to be filled
with enough praises to outweigh the basket with the test and
trial. Her healing would be manifested when her praise
basket was full.

Well, she obeyed the Lord and began to praise Him.
She praised Him from her heart with song and praised
Him for His greatness and for all He had ever done for
her. She praised Him for His faithfulness to keep His word.
She praised Him for her healing . 1 Peter 2:24 says we
were healed. Jesus healed us almost two thousand
years ago. So with a sincere heart of faith toward God,
she praised and praised and praised God. After several
days of consistent praise the Lord showed her the praise
basket was full. She was completely healed of the smallpox
without one scar.

As you stand on the promises of God, release your faith
through praise toward God and see your answers
manifested.

Faith Builder - Walk in Love

According to 1 John 4:8b, "God is love." So,
as Christians born of God, He being our Heavenly Father,
we are to act like Him. We are to "walk in love" according to
Ephesians 5:2a. And faith works by walking in love as said in
Galatians 5:6b. Let us walk in God's love toward God and
all people so our faith will operate at full potential.

Let us be quick to forgive others as Christ forgave us. Let
us walk in love, walk in faith and never hold a grudge against
anyone, for this pleases our Heavenly Father.

Faith Builder - Testimonies

What happens when you hear a testimony of someone who
trusted in one of God's many promises and received their miracle?
It encourages you. It encourages you to believe promises like
Mark 9:23b: "If thou canst believe, all things are possible to
him that believeth."

Listen to and read faith building testimonies. You could even start
with some of the great testimonies in the Bible. Hebrews 11 is
called the Hall of Faith because of all the great faith testimonies.

Faith Builder - Right Associations

The Bible says in Romans 1:17, "The just shall live by
faith." To live by faith does not mean you become a snob
and only associate with people on fire for God. Even
Jesus sat and talked with those who were shunned by
society. But, He had a purpose for hanging out with
sinners. "For the Son of man is come to seek and to
save that which was lost.

But notice His close circle of friends were people
like Peter and John who latter became pillars in the
Church. So, love, minister to and witness to the lost
and hurting ones, but run with those that will uplift
you with their strong testimony of effective working
faith.

Faith Builder - Seek God Now

Your faith can't help but grow if you diligently seek God. Psalm
46:10 states, "Be still, and know that I am God." With the
knowledge of God your faith in Him and His word will grow
because you gain the revelation of His power and faithfulness
to keep his promises.

2 Peter 1:3 says, "According as his divine power hath given
unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through
the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue."

Also, your love for God will grow if you seek Him daily. Spend
at least a half hour quite before Him each day and let Him
do most of the talking. He does have something to say to
you.

Faith Builder - Praying in Tongues

Jude 2:20 encourages you to pray in tongues. "But ye, beloved,
building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the
Holy Ghost."

You might say, "But I don't believe in praying in tongues."
Read Acts 2:4 and perhaps you will change your mind:
"And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to
speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance."

Or you might say, "That was for them, but it is not for us
today." Acts 2:38,39 says, "Then Peter said unto them,
Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of
Jesus Christ for the remission (forgiveness) of sins, and
ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the
promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all
that are afar off (that's you!), even as many as the Lord
our God shall call."

If you have never been baptized in the Holy Spirit, I
encourage you to receive this glorious free gift and
begin praying in tongues daily, building up your faith
in God and His word.

Faith Builder - Keep the Switch of Faith Turned On

Once you have released your faith for something
you desire to become real in your life then
refuse to speak doubt. Doubt will try
to rob you of your faith. Don't waver in your
faith. James 1:6b says, "For he that wavereth
is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind
and tossed." Speak only those things in line
with the word of God.

And watch your thoughts. Don't dwell on thoughts of
doubt. "Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things
are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever
things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely,
whatsoever things are of good report; if there
be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think
on these things" (Philippians 4:8).

Faith Builder - Be Thankful

There are a number of ways you can release your faith in God's
promises. One of the most powerful ways is giving thanks to
God for the promise you are standing on in faith. When you
are thanking God, you are showing Him and yourself that
you believe you have received your answer to prayer.

"Be careful (anxious) for nothing; but in every thing by prayer
and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made
known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth
all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through
Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6,7).

Faith Builder - Personalize God's Promises

When you declare God's promises out of your mouth
you want to personalize them. This will cause faith to
come to your heart so you can believe what God
says about you is true. Let me give you an example in
the next paragraph of activating your faith in God's promises
by personalizing them.

The Bible says in Isaiah 54:17 that "No weapon that is formed
against thee shall prosper."Now this is how you personalize it:
No weapon that is formedagainst me shall prosper.
Notice how changing the "thee"to me makes it personal so
that when you speak it, you arenotifying yourself that this
promise belongs to you. That wayfaith will rise in your heart
to believe this promise is real in you.

Personalize those promises!

Faith Builder - Meditate God's Word

Joshua 1:8 says, "This book of the law shall not depart out of
thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night,
that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written
therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and
then thou shalt have good success."

So, what does it mean to meditate in God's word? It means
to ponder God's word. Contemplate it. Mutter it. Declare
it . I would say declare it out loud boldly. Mediating in
God's word would involve studying it. In other words,
saturate yourself with God's word, especially the promises
you have been given in the word of God.

Example: "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth
me and no weapon that is formed against me shall prosper." - Philippians 4:13 and Isaiah 54:17. As you meditate and personalize
these scriptures, boldly declaring them out loud, faith will come and
you will begin to believe what you are saying is true in you.

How To Release Your Faith to Overcome Fear

Jesus Christ redeemed you from fear. 2 Timothy 1:7 says
"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power,
and of love, and of a sound mind." So, what do you do
to overcome fear? First of all you need to give the problem
of fear to God. The Bible says "Be careful (anxious) for
nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication
with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto
God. And the peace of God, which passeth all
understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through
Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6,7).

When you approach your Heavenly Father in prayer using
Jesus' name, believe that according to 1 John 5:14,15
that God heard your prayer and granted you your
petition, freedom from fear.

What do you do when someone gives you something
of value? You thank them because you received
their gift. Same way with God, when you ask Him
for something and believe He heard and answered
your prayer according to 1 John 5:14,15 then you
thank Him like it says in Philippians 4:6,7.

Whenever that fear tries to attack you, begin to
thank God you are free from that fear. In fact
get in a habit of thanking God throughout the day
for your salvation. Your salvation includes being
saved, healed, protected, made whole, do well,
delivered and preserved. That's alot to be thankful
for because of what Jesus Christ did for you on
Cross.

This is just one scriptural way of overcoming fear.
Lord willing, I will share other scriptural ways
of defeating fear.

There is a spiritual reason for giving thanks to God.
When you thank God, you are releasing your faith
for God's answer to be made real in your life.
This spiritual principle is found in Hebrews 11:1.
I believe this is the greatest explanation of faith in
the Bible.

Begin thanking God you are free from fear. Remember
according to Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against
thee shall prosper." That's something to meditate on and
thank God for everyday. Peace to you and enjoy thanking
God for your freedom from fear.

Moses Puts His Faith in God

and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong
east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land,
and the waters were divided.

And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea
upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto
them on their right hand, and on their left.

And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea,
and the sea returned to his strength when the
morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against
it; and Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst
of the sea.

Thus the Lord saved Israel that day out of the hand
of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead
upon the sea shore.

This faith story was taken from Exodus 14:21,22,27,30.

Young David's Faith in Action

Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, whose height was six
cubits and a span.

And the Philistine said, I defy the armies of Israel this day;
give me a man, that we may fight together. When Saul and
all Israel heard those words of the Philistine, they were
dismayed, and greatly afraid.

And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him;
thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine.

David said moreover, The Lord that delivered me out of
the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will
deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said
unto David, Go, and the Lord be with thee.

And he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth
stones out of the brook, and put them in a sheperd's bag
which he had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in his
hand: and he drew near to the Philistine.

And the Philistine came on and drew near unto David;
and the man that bare the shield went before him.

And the Philistine said to David, Come to me, and I will
give thy flesh unto the fowls of he air, and to the beasts of
the field.

Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with
a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come
to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the
armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.

This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I
will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will
give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day
unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the
earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in
Israel.

And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saveth
not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord's,
and he will give you into our hands.

And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came
and drew nigh to meet David, that David hasted, and
ran toward the army to meet the Philistine.

And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a
stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his
forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and
he fell upon his face to the earth.

So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and
with a stone, amd smote the Philistine, and slew him;
but there was no sword in the hand of David.

Therefore David ran, and stood upon the Philistine,
and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheath
thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head therewith.
And when the Philistines saw their champion was dead,
they fled" (1 Samuel 17:4,10,11,32,37,40,41,44-51).

Now that is faith in action. Let us put our trust in God
and his word as David did so we too will do great things
for God advancing His kingdom.

God's Faith in Action

God operates through faith. In Hebrews 11:3 the Bible
states "Through faith we understand that the worlds were
framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen
were not made of things which do appear."

An example of God's faith in action: "And God said, Let
there be light: and there was light" (Genesis 1:3).
Notice how He released His faith through words.

Read, study and meditate in God's word to develop
your faith. Also, praying in tongues as you read scriptures
will allow the Holy Spirit to give you revelation knowledge
of God's word. Don't believe in speaking in tongues?
Then you need to read and consider Acts 2:4.

Practice using your faith. John 16:23 is a good
scripture to help you exercize your faith.

Why Do We Need Faith?

faith." Also, in 1 John 5:4 it says, "For whosoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith." And in Hebrews 11:6 it says, "But without faith
it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to
God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder
of them that diligently seek him." So, to live an
overcoming life that pleases God you need to have
faith. Faith in God and faith in His word.

So, who can have faith? Anyone who hears the Word of God can receive faith. The Bible says in Romans 10:17 "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." In fact, that is how a person receives salvation. They hear
the word of God preached or taught and faith comes to their heart. Then they to decide to make the wise decision to receive salvation by accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

You Need Faith

How to Get an Answer to Prayer

1. Find a scripture(s) to be a base, a foundation for your prayer, like Mark 11:24, John 16:23 or 1 John 5:14,15.

2. Make sure your prayer request is God’s will.

3. Ask in faith knowing that when you pray He has heard your prayer.

4. Once you have asked God the Father in Jesus’ name for what you desire then you must believe you have received the answer (the title deed so to speak) to what you have hoped to come to pass..

5. You release your faith in God’s promise that He has heard and answered your prayer by acting like you believe you have “it” (your prayer answered) now. That’s faith.

6. Thanking, praising and worshipping God gives substance to what you hoped to come to pass.

Doubt says, "Someday maybe I will get it."

Faith says, "I've got it now!"
